Personajes

Our lead character, Arthur, is the king of England. Beneath his firm and wise hand, the warring tribes of Celts, Saxons, Jutes and Angles have been brought under control and foreign marauders driven from the shores. His queen is Gwenhyver who loves him dearly. Yet Arthur knows that her deepest and most passionate love is reserved for his greatest knight, Sir Launcelot. This has cast a blight upon Arthur's soul and, as a result, a curse upon Arthur's kingdom. It is Arthur's task to find the Holy Grail and the three missing knights in order to lift the curse. Arthur Arthur Finally Arthur meets the goddess Aphrodite herself. She finds Arthur worthy and allows him to take the grail. The Lady of the Lake, or "watery tart" as Gwenhyver calls her, lives in her castle in the middle of the lake of Ot Moor. She was the one who gave Arthur the sword Excalibur many years ago. These days she has become very heartless, both metaphorically and literally. She imprisoned Launcelot in ice for his infidelity, only willing to release him if Arthur manages to pass a test of wisdom. Gwenhyver is the Queen of England, wife of King Arthur. Although she loves Arthur, her most passionate love is reserved for Sir Launcelot. She is the last one to have spoken with him before he left to search for the Grail. She can usually be found at the Queen's Bower of Camelot. Rumor has it that the Queen's Bower is located on purpose out of the sight of king Arthur's room. Conquests of Camelot - The Search for the Grail - View333-0.png Though Gawaine believes the Mad Monk of Glastonbury Tor has the Grail in his possession, it is actually the crystal heart of the Lady of the Lake he owns. You will have to fight him to get it. A master of illusion, the mad monk creates two additional monks out of thin air to disguise himself. He has been a servant of the Old Ones for many centuries. Arthur better bribes these men rather than risking being chopped to pieces. Conquests of Camelot - The Search for the Grail - View344-6.png Conquests of Camelot - The Search for the Grail - View346-0.png Mohammed is a formidable man, though with an honest face. Probably a former soldier, he now owns a weapon store in the Jerusalem Bazaar. He would like to travel with a caravan, but lacks transportation, so Arthur sells him his mule. Ione dropped the cage with her prize pigeons and can't get the birds to return to their cage. Arthur helps her out by luring the pigeons with grain. Turns out she is also a servant of the Grail, testing Arthur. Ibrahim sells textile in the bazaar. He has been unloyal to his wife and fears she will divorce him if she finds out. The problem is he promised his wife a beautiful veil but Mari, the woman he cheated with, doesn't want to return it. Once a thief, always a thief. And this one's a backstabber, too. First he steals Arthur's belongings in the Bazaar, then he tries to run off with the Grail. That will also be the last of his actions. Farabi sells earthen pots, silver plates and other merchandise, such as mirrors. He only wants two things: Arthur to buy something from his store and for the wind to stay in the same direction, so he wouldn't have to smell the fish from the fish merchant next to his store. Hayyam sells fish. Unfortunately his neighbors are always complaining about the smell. Arthur should help him freshen the air a bit. Perhaps herbs could be useful. Tariq owns a general store in the bazaar, selling things like brooms, herbs, charcoal and so on. He is angry at his cousin, Achmed, because Achmed did not bring him a relic from his travels, even though he promised he would. Achmed is the owner of the Inn. Unfortunately the Inn is closed because he doesn't have a broom to clean the place. His cousin, Tariq, could sell him one, but refuses to do so because Achmed didn't bring him a relic from his journey. Ismail owns an antiquity store. He sells relics and even claims to have had the Grail itself. Apparently he tries to lift people's money with cheap lies. Fawaz is the butcher at the bazaar. He'll sell Arthur a piece of lamb's meat. He doesn't like it if Arthur asks for pork. He also doesn't like it if Arthur peaks inside his bathroom window. The beautiful Fatima is a servant of the Grail. First she tests Arthur's will by trying to seduce him. Then she tests his knowledge on the six goddesses before directing him to the catacombs. Conquests of Camelot - The Search for the Grail - View375-0.png Sarah sells felafels in the bazaar. Though she loves eating felafels, it's the only thing she has and she would really like some variety, like a piece of lamb's meat. Arthur's final test: he must defeat the Saracen in melee combat. The Saracen is a fair warrior though, as he offers Arthur a helmet to have even armor. Sir Galahad, the third knight of the Round Table who went searching for the Grail, got very far, but the catacombs nearly became his tomb. Poisoned by rat bites he is near death when Arthur finds him. He will try to make Arthur drink water from a poisoned pool and rob his corpse. Al Sirat is the scholar and first servant of the Grail. He tells Arthur about the challenges that lie ahead, knows about Galahad and has useful information about the six goddesses.
