es que siempre estamos hablando de traducir esto o lo otro o probar tal programa, y como con el hexadecimal no me aclaro siempre le digo que no entiendo nada, asi que para una cosa que he visto que puedo sin problema me he dicho venga se lo debo

edit: gracias por el apunte johan, es que el general Gangoso lo pronuncia todo con F, y cuando se juntan varias palabras fon F de verdad me pierdo tienes buen ojo

por lo visto le han intentado poner acento aleman al general (al otro se le entiende todo), pero es un acento como cómico, exagerado, y claro es un cachondeo pillarle algunas cosas entre la calidad del sonido y todo...

Muchas gracias por haberme ayudado. Aunque tardaré un poco más en poner los subtítulos porque no codifica bien de AVI a VQA. Resulta que el formato VQA debe ser en 8-bit (256 colorakos), pero los AVI los pilla en 15-bit (pufff, una barbarie de colorakos); entonces tengo que pasar el VQA a varias imágenes PCX y de ahí a codificarlo otra vez en VQA. La parte buena es que puedo modificar las imágenes con mi photoshop... la parte mala es que por fin había conseguido integrar los subtítulos con virtualdubmod (o virtualmoddub o como leches se llame). ¿Alguien sabe si se puede poner un AVI a 8-bit (256 colores)? Si no, seguiré con el método buckler PCX.

Hola SkaZZ,

Si que hay programas que pasan de 15 a 8,  el Rad video tools incluso los transforma a 256 colores usando la misma paleta que el vídeo. Pero como supongo que usas el VQA encoder V0.5 pues como que no vale para nada ya que solo admite formatos avi de 15. Una solución posible sería la siguiente.

Extraes los videos del juego a avi (con el XCC Mixer o con el programa que te pase) y con el virtualdubmod incrustas los Subt aprovechas y extraes el audio a Wav.

Luego usas un programita llamado Aoao Video to Picture que te permite pasar el avi a imágenes pcx el frame count supongo que será 15 al menos a eso creo están en el Red Alert.

Una vez hecho esto usas el VQA encoder con las imágenes pcx y añades el Wav.

No se si te puede servir de ayuda, por cierto el Aoao Video to Picture creo que es de pago pero bueno ya sabes...

Al final lo estoy haciendo así:

Con XCC Mixer extraigo los VQA. Luego, con el mismo programa, extraigo el audio del VQA y todos los frames del vídeo en archivos PCX. Con el audio, veo donde hablan para más o menos situarme en los frames. Ya situado, pongo los subtítulos acorde a las imágenes y al vídeo (esto es para que quede bien colocado, nada más) y luego uso VQA Enconder b2 con las imágenes con los subtítulos. Ayer por la noche (joder, hoy no he dormido nada), estuve probando hasta que al final logré crear el primer vídeo "soviet1". Esta tarde lo subo dentro de movies1.mix (primero probaré que funciona, claro).

Por cierto, como en el trabajo no puede liarme con los vídeos porque (entre otras cosas, claro), el PC que tengo es un poco fulero, me he puesto con el The Elder Scrolls: Arena. En el trabajo Elder Scrolls, en casa Red Alert, así puedo ir haciendo cosillas. Pero necesito ayuda con la traducción del The Elder Scrolls. Más que nada, tiene mucho texto y voy muy lento.

¿Alguien se apunta? Si es así, creo otro mensaje en el foro con esta traducción y voy posteando textos.
