Hi everyone,
My name is Marto and I’d like to share a personal project I’ve been developing entirely on my own: The Lost Adventures of Monkey Island.
It’s a fan-made extension built in Unity, created with a lot of dedication and genuine love for the original Monkey Island series. My goal is to build a “lost chapter” that feels faithful to the universe while adding new scenes, characters, puzzles, and systems of my own.
This project is not a remake or a commercial release. It’s something I’m building as a long-time fan, learning as I go, and trying to honor the spirit, humor, and atmosphere of the classic point-and-click adventures.
What the project includes so far
New areas and scenes in classic 320×240 pixel-art style
A new custom movement system inspired by SCUMM-era adventures
A fully redesigned inventory with animated slots and item behaviours
A new dialogue system with branching topics and dynamic responses
New characters, interactions, jokes and environmental details
Cutscenes and story moments that blend naturally into the MI world
New puzzles currently in development
Everything coded, animated and designed by me alone
