En 1193, el Rey Ricardo Corazón de León fue apresado por el Rey Leopoldo de Austria, quien exigió 100.000 monedas de oro a cambio de su libertad. Ricardo confiaba en que su gente pagaría el rescate, pero en cambio, el Príncipe Juan (su hermano), el Sheriff y el Abad de Nottingham aprovecharon la situación para cometer todo tipo de injusticias y abusos de poder en sus tierras. Un día, Robin Hood, a causa de una injusticia, se vio obligado a huir para conservar su libertad, y desde entonces, vivió oculto en el bosque de Sherwood junto a sus compañeros, hombres al igual que él buscados injustamente por la ley y fieles a el Rey Ricardo.

que bueno, este me encantaba pero lo recuerdo super dificil, que me mataban por nada, o me convertia en arbol(los que hayais jugado sabreis a que me refiero), y que habia un monton de cosas que podias hacer pero solo en el momento adecuado segun quien pasara por el camino y si no las hacias perdias la oportunidad..."muy sierra".

Hola:

Soy nueva en este foro. La verdad que estoy alucinando con la cantidad de aventuras gráficas que hay por aquí. Mi más sinceridad admiración y agradecimiento.

Tengo un problema al jugar este juego, y es que no se como instalarle el parche para que funcione en español.
Si alguno fuera tan amable de explicarmelo, se lo agradecería.

Descomprimir la traducción dentro de la carpeta del juego sobreescribiendo todo cuando pregunte.
Antes que nada ejecutar Install (desde DOSBox) para que guarde la configuración. Tras ejecutar Install, lanzar directamente en DOSBox usando para ejecutar Longbow.bat.

Hola, tengo un par de problemillas, aunque son el mismo en realidad. No puedo traducir el juego, ni con el ejecutable de laela (no es compatible con win10 64) ni con la página de dementia, que ya no funciona. ¿Alguien la tiene ya descomprimida?  Gracias!

I played with Deutsch and English versions. I played with your translation. I wanted to see if the codes were broken.

I translated this game 8 years ago. I redo my complete translation (tex, scr, pic and view files). I am not a programmer. I simplified gems code and hand code.
Gems code = We can click on any gemme (621.scr file)... It is good.
Hand code = I drew the letters on the hand (213.p56 file). Beauaus I lke enigmes.
You have not translated 213.scr file. I can try to translate it if you give me Spanish translation of the words. I do not know Spanish words. But they must be short. If all Spanish words go beyond English text. I will find a solution... Perhaps.
I can give you these two files. There is a small problem for 621.scr file. There are texts to translate and my file is in French.

I will look at the other codes (name of the tree druids) later.

My problem is coat of arms code. I think it takes a programmer to solve the problem of this code of arms. I would like to know if a person could help me. Thank you.

Precisamente esos son los archivos que dan error al cargar el juego con el Scumm VM. Lo que no sé es si darán problemas más adelante.

Hola,
I finished the game. I tested with ScummVm and US version (1.1). .. No problem. BUT, I had a problem with the files. These are this files: 180.scr (no text) and 994.scr (with text). I extracted 994.scr file of game for to translate. ScummVm does not accept these two files (180.scr and 994.scr).
For hand code and coats of arms... I bypassed this problem with "view" and "text" files. Because I am not a programmer.

Terminé el juego. Probé con ScummVM y la versión US (1.1)... No hay problema. PERO, tuve un problema con los archivos. J'ai extrait le fichier 994.scr du jeu pour traduire. ScummVm no acepta estos dos archivos (180.scr y 994.scr).
Para el código de la mano y los escudos de armas... Resolví este problema con los archivos "view" y "tex". Porque no soy programador.
¿Quieres mis archivos?

No, tampoco para la versión 1.1 creo. Es más, no me gustó en su momento porque tenía que salir más de la época.

¡¡¡PERO TÚ PUEDES TRADUCIRLA, NEVILLE!!! ¡¡¡LA COMUNIDAD CUENTA CONTIGO!!!
(Y aquí vendría un cartel conmigo en plan Tío SkaZz apuntando con el dedo).

SCI Companion, la última versión, creo que permite su traducción en sus múltiples versiones. Lo bueno es que una vez tengas la traducción, pasarlo a las otras versiones será en su mayor parte copiar y pegar (excepto las modificaciones entre versiones).

Aunque ahora que lo pienso, ese anillo me quedaría fetén con la casaca verde e hilo de oro y la gorra de cazador puntiaguda que...

EDITO: Pues me he descargado el programilla y veo que me deja acceder a los textos. Lo que no sé es qué hay que hacer para modificarlos, ni cómo lidiar con los ficheros de texto que llevan compresión.

Los textos hay de todo, algunos bastante largos pero la mayoría cortitos, así que factible es.

En su día traduje un buen montón de subtítulos del inglés, aunque estoy un poco oxidado.
