Descripción
En The Descendant somos Donnie y Mia, dos personajes humanos que viven dos líneas temporales distintas y que, en el caso del primero, forma parte de los pocos miles que han sobrevivido al enésimo apocalipsis que hemos vivido en los videojuegos, mientras que la segunda, años antes, es una de las encargadas del cuidado y mantenimiento de las cápsulas donde los supervivientes descansan. En esta ocasión la singularidad se deriva del hecho de que Donnie está en el mundo varios siglos después de que éste sufriera la hecatombe, y es que hemos sido criogenizados para volver a ocupar el planeta una vez que éste esté practicable tras el suceso que lo ha dejado poco menos que desértico.
