Descripción

It Came From The Desert trascurre en el desértico pueblo de Lizard Breath, donde la vida gira normalmente entre sus ciudadanos hasta la llegada de un meteorito, el cual da fama al pueblo... pero... en lo profundo del volcán se está gestando un mal que puede acabar no sólo con Lizard Breath... sino con el mundo entero. Tú eres el Dr. Bradley, un profesor universitario de geología, y te has desplazado a Lizard Breath porque según tú "las rocas más interesantes están en los sitios menos interesantes". Allí, tendrás que recoger pruebas, hablar con la gente... y parar la amenaza que se cierne sobre la ciudad.

Hablamos de un juego de 1990 que en principio fue diseñado para el ordenador Amiga. Así pues, la versión de PC tiene un acabado gráfico peor, pero conserva toda la esencia del juego; el cual, se desarrolla en tiempo real. Puedes jugar dos partidas diferentes y parecer que no juegas al mismo título. Cada decisión que tomes afectará al juego, cada frase que le digas a alguien también es decisiva. Todo ello acompañado de una música decente y un entorno amplio que explorar.

Usando Sound Blaster en la configuración del juego se escucha la música. Para que también se escuchen las digitalizaciones con Sound Blaster habrá que cambiar el irq a 3 en el dosbox.conf.
