Descripción

El equinócio de otoño: Noche de gran poder en el calendario pagano, ha cubierto el paisaje con un oscuro manto. Algo ha perturbado las viejas piedras. Conrad Morse, un respetado arqueólogo de Middlestone, ha puesto en marcha una nueva excavación en el lugar. Ha invitado a otros para que se le unan, todos expertos en sus respectivos campos. Se espera que el círculo revele sus secretos a los recién llegados mediante el uso de mapas geofísicos (georadar) y de especialidades científicas como la paleobotánica (el estudio de las plantas fosilizadas cercanas y de las semillas). Cada una de las piedras erguidas es única, y aún está por estudiar. ¿Qué indicios se ocultan bajo el rico suelo del montículo de Barrow? Cuando llegas al lugar, las cosas no son como debieran. Algo horrible está sucediendo. Dispones de una noche, el equinócio de otoño, para descubrir lo que acecha bajo Barrow Hill.
