Scavenger Hunter fue escrito originalmente como una aventura de texto en la década de 1980 en un PC con 640 KB de memoria. La versión interactiva para Windows llevó 7 años de desarrollo.

Instalar el juego manualmente desde el ejecutable Scavenger Hunter.exe del CD y aplicar los parches antes de jugar siguiendo las instrucciones de los mismos.

La instalación es completa y no necesitamos tener el CD insertado para poder jugar.--cireja 16:54 24 sep 2013
