Descripción
En la isla tropical de Zo Wanga en la década de 1930, la ciudad de New Ginen es un estudio de contrastes: "impregnado de una rica cultura vudú (pero) invadido por cadenas de tiendas, infestado de turistas privilegiados", este es un lugar donde "el color local y la corrupción colonial chocan en una batalla desesperada por la supervivencia". Con este intrigante telón de fondo, con un estilo noir probado y verdadero, el investigador del mismo nombre conoce a una "mujer misteriosa sin pasado en el centro de un drama tan profundo que los hilos de la realidad amenazan con desenredarse".
