A New Beginning narra las aventuras del científico Bent Svesson, que recibe la visita de Fay, una mujer que viene del futuro para prevenirle de una catástrofe que sufrirá el planeta si sus investigaciones caen en malas manos... Desde entonces, ambos personajes deberán unirse para luchar contra el calentamiento global. El objetivo será viajar al pasado y encontrar al hombre que puede cambiar el curso de la historia.

	Bent Svensson	Bent is an aged bio engineer and looks back on a life of responsibility as the director of a research lab. He is the definition of a workaholic, but his deteriorating health forced him to give up his career before he was able to complete his life's work of engineering an energy-efficient bio-fuel from blue algae. It was far from easy for him to let go of his responsibilities and hand them over to the next generation in the shape of his son Duve. Ever since, he's desperately been trying to enjoy the solitude of his cabin in the Norwegian wilderness.
	Fay	Fay travels back in time from the year 2500, where the last surviving remainders of mankind are faced with the disastrous consequences of a global climate cataclysm. Her mission: Convince the people in our time of the error of their ways. But the idealistic young woman struggles with her official orders and decides to forge her own plan to manipulate the past. But how far can she go in order to save the world?
	Salvador	Salvador is Fay's tough superior. As a representative of mankind's future, he is willing to take drastic measures in order to avert the impending doom. His understanding of this mission is absolute: Either the climate catastrophe will be prevented or humanity will perish. In his view, this gives him the right – no, the obligation – to overstep any boundary to achieve his goal, be it moral, ethical or otherwise.
	Indez	The CEO and founder of Indez Industries is an unscrupulous business man. He always has his own interests and that of his company at heart. When Bent Svensson and his clean bio energy appeared on his radar, he immediately was all ears. A form of energy that everyone could easily and cheaply generate at home, would ruin him financially. Indez is determined to prevent this – for him, everything boils down to money.
	Oggy	Oggy is a freelance journalist and a one-man team capable of generating and disseminating news instantly. As the owner of a helicopter that he has turned into a mobile broadcasting station, he is able to cover any crisis zone – and fast. And with a time travel capsule from the future materializing right inside his chopper, he surely has the story of the century on his hands.

Curiosidades

• Inicialmente anunciada su distribución en España por parte de Friendware, al final la cosa se enfrió y no se llegó a publicar. Tuvieron incluso durante muchísimo tiempo una página dedicada con todos los detalles del juego. Finalmente fue Steam la encargada de distribuirlo con textos en español mediante descarga digital.
