Descripción
State of Mind tiene lugar en un oscuro Berlín de 2048. El jugador observará un futuro hostil amenazado constantemente por la guerra, por la escasez de recursos y por la continua opresión del gobierno, y verá cómo los ciudadanos para poder sobrellevar esta realidad, han optado por abandonar sus vidas reales y han preferido digitalizar sus mentes y transferirlas a una utopía virtual llamada "City 5".
El personaje que los jugadores controlarán intentará también transferir su mente a este mundo virtual, pero sin embargo, como les acaba ocurriendo a muchas de las personas que se someten a este proceso, algo irá mal y finalmente acabará por existir a la vez tanto en el mundo real como en el mundo virtual de City 5. En medio de esta paradoja, el protagonista intentará encontrar su familia y reunir su yo físico con su fracturada identidad virtual.
