Descripción

Basado en los "Mitos de Cthulhu" de H.P. Lovecraft.

Personajes

Curiosidades

  • La versión CD, solo con voces en inglés, se tituló The Scroll.
  • La aventura incluía dentro de la caja del propio juego un libreto llamado "The alchemist of Istanbul" que nos introducía en la historia mediante un juego de rol.

Instalación

Preinstalado

En el foro dispones de versiones preinstaladas donde sólo tendrás que descomprimir y ejecutar:

  • Basada en DOSBox y la versión disquetes.

DOSBox

  • Para la versión española de disquetes:
El juego tiene que estar en C:\DAUGHTER.
Si se instala desde los disquetes hay que situarse en C:, y desde ahí instalar con a:install. Si se pone install directamente desde a da error.
Ejecutando RUN hay que crear o elegir el personaje y ver la intro siempre.
Ejecutando SERPENTS salta la intro y la elección de personaje y va al menú directamente.
  • Para la versión inglesa en CD:
  1. Montar la imagen bin/cue añadiendo estas lineas al apartado autoexec del dosbox.conf:

imgmount d "...ruta...\VIC_SCROLL.cue" -t iso
C:
2. Instalar con Setup y seguir las instrucciones de pantalla.
3. En la opción Select Sound Card NO elijáis la opción auto-detect, ya que selecciona la opción Gravis y no funcionará, saldrá todo negro y bloqueado. Elige Sound Blaster 220-7-1.--cireja 13:10 23 sep 2013
