Descripción

La jornada no empieza bien para Nicole Bonnet (que no Bennet tal y como reza la caja de la edición española), pues además de ser la encargada de los cafés, su compañero acaba de morir en acto de servicio. Ahora es la encargada de la investigación de una serie de asesinatos que se están cometiendo en Nueva York. Tres son ya las víctimas que han aparecido y en todas ellas se ha encontrado la misma firma. El causante de estas muertes parece muy interesado en los objetos de origen sudamericano: ha dejado monedas del siglo XVI junto a los cadáveres y ha utilizado sobre sus cuerpos algún tipo de cuchillo ritual.
