Descripción

Apocalipsis es una aventura point-and-click inspirada en títulos como Samorost y Machinarium, donde cada puzle encierra un significado. Con un diseño artístico único, inspirado en grabados del siglo XV, se cuenta un relato sobre sufrimiento, redención y, literalmente, sobre el fin del mundo.

En Apocalipsis encarnas a Harry, para quien la pérdida de su amada supuso el fin del mundo. Ahora ha de adentrarse en tierras extrañas y hostiles para traerla de vuelta. Durante su viaje, se encontrará con criaturas fantásticas herederas del legado de artistas de la Europa del siglo XV y, en última instancia, se enfrentará a sus propios demonios.

El diseño artístico de Apocalipsis tiene un claro estilo medieval: el universo del juego está inspirado por el Libro de las revelaciones y empapado de filosofía y pensamiento de la Edad Media, como queda de manifiesto en la trama, que bebe directamente de la Divina comedia de Dante Alighieri. Todos los lugares y personajes de Apocalipsis están inspirados en xilografías clásicas de los siglos XV y XVI realizadas por artistas como Hans Holbein, Michael Wolgemut y Albrecht Dürer. Esta simbiosis entre filosofía y arte medieval en un videojuego tiene como resultado una creación única e insólita.
