Descripción

Tu nombre es David Walker. Eres miembro de la tripulación del Apollo XIX. Tu misión es recopilar información sobre ciertos eventos sísmicos detectados en la superficie de la Luna. Debería haber sido una tarea rutinaria sin mayores problemas. Pero a medida que te acercas al final de tu tarea, el mundo entero se vuelve loco. Algo mata a tus compañeros de tripulación, sin previo aviso, y aparentemente sin mucho esfuerzo. Y ahora viene a por ti.

Instalación

Windows XP

  • Para instalación completa, montar las dos imágenes de CD en dos unidades virtuales distintas a la vez. En mi caso, monto el CD1 en la unidad E:, y el CD2 en la unidad G:.
Arrancamos la autorreproducción del CD1 (o pinchamos en setup.exe del CD1) y elegimos la instalación mínima.
Una vez instalado, localizamos en el registro la entrada:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Fragile Bits - The Ward\cd2path]
y cambiamos el valor por G, que es donde tenemos montado el CD2.
Volvemos a arrancar la auto reproducción automática (o en el menú de inicio, Fragile Bits - The Ward/Uninstall_Reinstall) y reinstalamos eligiendo la instalación completa.
No hay otra forma posible de instalar con completa desde el principio en Windows XP, ya que, cuando pide el CD2 y salimos a Windows para cambiar la imagen de CD montada, siempre casca.
De esta forma no será necesario tener montadas ninguna de las imágenes de CD.
También se puede jugar con la instalación mínima, dejando montados las dos imágenes de los CDs, pero deberemos hacer el cambio antes descrito en el registro para no tener que andar cambiando las imágenes de unidad.
Es necesario sustituir el ejecutable original por el del patch 1.09.
Entrar en Cutscenes y cambiar el color de 64K a TrueColors.
