Descripción
Evil Days of Luckless John es una aventura gráfica al estilo clásico point'n'click, con uso de objetos, inventario, conversaciones y algún minijuego puntual con el que de alguna manera piensan que ganará en jugabilidad. El protagonista, John, es un tipo bastante desafortunado que por primera vez parece que le van a ir bien las cosas: un pariente lejano recientemente fallecido le ha dejado en herencia un exitoso casino. Por desgracia, la mala suerte de John le asaltará de nuevo, una vez que la mafia se entere de la reciente adquisición de nuestro protagonista, y no tardará en recurrir a las más retorcidas artimañas para hacerse con el control del casino.

Curiosidades
- Evil Days of Luckless John es la tercera entrega de una saga titulada Hot Summer (o Horke Leto, como se la conoce en la República Checa, de donde son sus diseñadores; diseñadores también de Memento Mori).
- Hay un punto aproximadamente a mitad de aventura donde hay que imitar una secuencia de teclas de cursor que va mostrando el juego. Para poder superarlo correctamente tenemos que usar las teclas W-A-S-D (a modo de cursores).

- La jugué casi recién salida del horno y el ordenador que usé en esa época no daba para más, y había una fase de habilidad y acción que me resultó prácticamente imposible superarla, en gran medida debido a las limitaciones del ordenador. Queda pendiente.--cireja 23:10 22 sep 2013 (CEST)
