Descripción
Fran es una niña que se enfrenta a un desorden mental y un destino injusto. Sus padres murieron en circunstancias extrañas y horribles, Fran los encontró desmembrados al llegar a casa y huyó junto a su gato negro —y único amigo—, Mr. Midnight. Se desmayó en el bosque y cuando al despertarse se encontraba en el Oswald Asylum, un estricto centro psiquiátrico para niños, desconociendo el paradero de Mr. Midnight. Fran intentará escapar de allí para recuperar a su amado gato e irse a vivir con su tía Grace —único familiar que le queda—, pero una extraña criatura, Remor, intentará evitarlo.
