Descripción
Miles Fordham, cuando era policía, vivió el asesinato de su compañero. Ahora, convertido en detective privado, ha comenzado a escuchar en su cabeza la voz del difunto Bill y eso lo está conduciendo a la locura. Cree que dar con el asesino de su colega es la única forma de recuperar la cordura y que Bill pueda descansar en paz. No obstante, carece de indicios sólidos para comenzar a tirar del hilo. Tratará de mantenerse ocupado atendiendo a otros casos y confía en que alguno de ellos pueda resultarle de ayuda para ponerse tras la pista del asesino.
