Descripción
Mick Carter lleva un tiempo sin quedarse mucho en el mismo lugar, cambia a menudo de trabajo y no tiene un hogar como tal. La muerte de su madre lo lleva de vuelta a la ciudad en la que nació, donde vive su hermana. Para llegar al entierro, se sube de polizón en un vagón de carga. No se imaginaba que iba a presenciar un cruel asesinato por parte de unos hombres equipados con tecnología punta.
Esos hombres lo persiguen y lo acaban ahogando en un embalse… pero las cosas no terminan ahí, sino que sus problemas solo acaban de empezar. Regresa de la muerte, con la sensación de que algo lo siguió desde el otro lado, para enfrentarse a una conspiración.
