Leisure Suit Larry in the Land of the Lounge Lizards es una aventura gráfica editada por Sierra On-Line en 1987, utilizando el parser AGI. En 1991 se editó una nueva versión, que mantiene la historia original pero está basado en el parser SCI, existe versiones EGA de 16 colores y VGA de 256 colores, y acciones mediante iconos.

Descripción

Larry Laffer es un tipo encantador: cuarentón, fiestero y un poco pasado de moda. En este juego su único objetivo es encontrar a una chica que se sienta atraída por el, con la cual pasar una noche inolvidable, perder su virginidad y encontrar su gran amor.

En su particular odisea, se topará con los más pintorescos personajes que pueblan las noches de una gran ciudad. ¿Conseguirá Larry encontrar a la chica perfecta? Eso, depende de tí.

Huevos de Pascua

  • Si quieres escuchar la música del juego, coge la cartera del inventario, y cliquea con ella en el tocadiscos. Te aparecerán unas cuantas canciones.

Curiosidades

  • Traducción al español a nivel amateur por mondarina (versión AGI 16 colores).
  • Al final del juego, Ken Williams (fundador de Sierra) sale de un armario y empieza a hacer publicidad de otros juegos de Sierra.
  • Al Lowe, creador del juego, aparece sentado en una butaca dentro de la discoteca.
  • La contraseña para entrar en la puerta cerrada del bar es "Ken me envía", haciendo referencia a Ken Williams.
  • Si quieres escuchar la música del juego, coge la cartera del inventario, y cliquea con ella en el tocadiscos. Te aparecerán unas cuantas canciones.

  • Cuando te hagan las preguntas del test del principio, puedes saltar una pregunta por otra pulsando [Ctrl] + [Alt] + [X].

En el foro dispones de versiones preinstaladas donde sólo tendrás que descomprimir y ejecutar:

  • Basada en DOSBox y la versión remake VGA de 1991 - SCI 256 colores.

DOSBox

ScummVM

  • En la versión en español hay que tirar obligatoriamente de los códigos del manual para pasar la protección, cosa que no ocurre en la versión en inglés.
He intentado rejugar esta aventura con ScummVM pero me he topado con un bug que me saca del juego y no puedo continuar. Se produce al intentar comprar la manzana al chico vestido con un barril en la puerta del casino. Versión Corrupta de Computer Hoy Juegos

La revista Computer Hoy Juegos hizo una distribución en CD con la saga de Larry. Es sabido que las versiones de Larry 1 VGA y Larry 5 están corruptas.

  • En Larry 1 VGA, el juego se cuelga o la pantalla se vuelve de colorines aleatorios al entrar en el casino.
  • En Larry 5, se produce un cuelgue irrecuperable al montarse en la limusina al principio.

Todo esto es debido a varios archivos corruptos en dicha distribución, que vete tú a saber de dónde obtuvieron ellos los juegos. Aventura y Cía Aquí lo comentan en los foros de Aventura y Cía.
