	Geron	The young trapper's life hasn't been easy since a Seer on his day of execution foretold Geron that he would "bring the end" upon Andergast. Since that day this dark prophecy weighs heavy on the boy. The other citizens of Andergast are treating him with distrust and they say that bad luck follows in his footstep. Around Geron mugs break, lights go out and misfortune happens. With all his strength Geron is trying to evade his dark destiny. But till now all of his efforts have been in vain and led to disaster – Geron really seems to be attracting calamity. Now that a strange crow-plague is spreading across the countryside Geron finally sees a chance to redeem his honor. But for that he'll have to attract the king's attention.
	Gwinnling	Gwinnling has always been an outcast and misanthrope. He doesn't enjoy contact with the citizens of the town and moved out into the loneliness of the forests to live as a hunter. Here he found the hideout of the dark Seer and led a party of "heroes" to him, that burned him at the stake. Gwinnling witnessed the burning of the Seer and was the first to see that the doomed prophet was pointing at a child with pitch-black hair and eyes. The hunter adopted the child Geron and raised him to be a bird catcher.
	El Vidente	The Seer was a dark prophet and in many regions far from Andergast too he was thought to be a messenger of doom. His dark prophecies even reached the far away kingdom of the elves. Yet, no one knew the Seers name. When he was still alive the people were scared to be cursed by the old man. Some believed him to be a druid or a sorcerer, others claimed he was a being from the fairy folk and even others were convinced that he was an all-knowing demigod. After his death the legend of the Seer grew even wilder. Thirteen years ago the king of Andergast sent his men out to capture the Seer. By the kings command the Seer died in flames. Since then the Andergasts live in fear that the murder of the Seer may bring doom to their city.
	Efferdan I. Zornbold, Rey de Andergast	As son of an Horasian baron and therefore an outcast Efferdan the younger of Hussbek-Galahan married the elder's daughter of the old king of Andergast. After the confusion about the succession to the throne in the year 1022 after Bosparan's Fall he unexpectedly became the new monarch of Andergast. All efforts of Efferdan to reform the land and to shape it after the image of his Horasian homeland failed due to the emptiness of the kingdoms treasury and the countries old nobility. More and more the king begins to understand that not everything that seems to be antiquated needs to be reshaped and thus starts to see his country and reign in a new light. Yet he is eager to end the conflict with their nearby kingdom of Nostria. But as he invites the Nostrian queen Yolande II to Andergast his peace efforts are jeopardized when the crow-plague reaches even the royal chambers of the castle.
	Nuri	What secrets surround the mysterious Nuri? Searching for a solution to the crow-plague Geron's foster father Gwinnling sends him to seek out this otherworldly girl and bring her to Andergast. But it seems that Geron is not the only one interested in Nuri. Soon dark occurrences involving the return of the Seer will force them to leave Andergast and set out on a dangerous adventure in the northern regions of Aventuria.
